Welcome to our website. The main aim of this new site is to give people more of an idea what we are about, what network is about and what's so special about our Network. You will also find general information on our unit, key dates and other resources to help enhance your scouting experience.

We are an organised and diverse Network unit that were set up in early March 2007, based in South-East Hampshire close to central Fareham, who meet every Saturday usually between 7:30-9:30pm, alternating between 2nd Fareham scout headquarters and The Castle In The Air, both located within the vercinity of Fareham Creek.

 

We have a number of camps, events, activities, as well as our Academy of Contemporary Performing Arts launch event, planned for this year and a number of introduction activities for members of the public and people who are interested in Network can take part in. Look in the dates section of the website for more information regarding this.

 

We are an open-access Network unit which means that we have a flexible approach as to how things are done within the unit and we welcome everyone to come along and to get involved, no matter how much experience that they have, everyone is treated equally  in a relaxed  and enjoyable environment.

We are open to any ideas that you have, be it a particular activity, possible future event or if you think that something could be done differently, feel free to get in touch. This is what we hope to achieve throughout our time in Network. This is what all current Network members have agreed on. 

Our role in scouting is simple, “we are a group of young people who meet every Saturday for several activities including: camps, hikes, cycle rides and when the tide dictates, there’s boating to!” 

 

We are also here to support our hosting scout unit “2nd Fareham scouts”, and other Scouting centres. Our main aim is to try and have fun and to become the best Network unit in Hampshire.
